The Twins have placed 3B Nick Punto on the 15-day disabled list with a hamstring injury, according to SLAM Sports.

May 8, 2008
Nick Punto was scratched for Thursday action due to cramps in his left hamstring, according to the Star Tribune. Cold weather was expected in Chicago today (it is currently 51 degrees) and Punto was benched as a precaution.

April 12, 2008
Nick Punto will start in place of Mike Lamb at third base tonight, according to the Star Tribune. Lamb is nursing a foot ailment, and is listed as day-to-day.

March 25, 2008
Nick Punto suffered through his worst day of spring training against the Pirates on Tuesday, as he went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. He also made a fielding error. His spring average dipped to .125 and hopefully he can end spring training on a high note.

Nick Punto went 0-for-2 with a walk on Tuesday, leaving him at 1-for-13 (.077) for the spring. Punto has AL-only value, but very little.
