While the offense for Oakland failed to show, the right arm of starter Justin Duchscherer was working just fine. Duchscherer pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowing just one run on four hits, walking two and striking out six.

Justin Duchscherer picked up his second straight win on Tuesday night. The right-hander held the Orioles to four hits and two runs over seven innings. Duchscherer walked two, struck out four, and stands at 3-1 with a 2.45 ERA.

Justin Duchscherer will be limited to 90-95 pitches tonight in his second start after missing three weeks with a biceps strain, according to the SF Chronicle. He hopes that he will get through seven or eight innings tonight against the Angels, while on the strict pitch count.
