Alexis Rios hit another home run on Friday night. It was just his eighth of the season but his third in his last six games. A lot of people expect Rios to grow into a solid power hitter, and he may finally be tapping into his potential.

Alexis Rios missed Saturday's game due to a sore right shoulder, according to the AP. "I think I did it lifting weights," Rios said, "because I didn't play ball during the offseason." He had an MRI on Saturday and will get the results on Sunday.

The Blue Jays are not too concerned about the sore right shoulder that's bothered Alexis Rios of late, according to the Toronto Sun. "It's been a little tender but he's better today," said manager John Gibbons. "He should be ready to go for the first game we play next Friday."
