Zambrano received an anti-inflammatory injection Thursday after leaving his start Tuesday because of discomfort in his right shoulder. Following up an earlier report, Carlos Zambrano left Monday's game with forearm cramps, not a hand injury as initially thought, according to the Chicago Tribune. Zambrano was forced to leave the scoreless game in the seventh inning after picking Bill Hall off second base. He began shaking his right arm immediately afterwards and came out of the game. Zambrano has suffered this same injury in the past due to dehydration, or in his own words, "not drinking enough water," during games. Zambrano remains winless in his four opening day starts. The good news is he is not expected to miss his next start.
