Manager Ozzie Guillen has stated that he could use Mark Buehrle in the bullpen if the situation calls for it, according to the Daily Southtown. "Maybe I would put Mark in the bullpen to get (left-handed hitters) out of the game," Guillen said. Buehrle is slated to start Game 2 on Wednesday.

Surhoff with a pitch, a move the umpire deemed to be intentional retaliation for two White Sox batters being hit, one on Sunday and one Monday.
