Manager Ozzie Guillen confirmed on Tuesday that Mark Buehrle won't make his last start of the season, which was scheduled for Friday, according to the Daily Southtown. Freddy Garcia will now get the nod on Friday. The White Sox want to prevent Buehrle from building up any more innings.

Manager Ozzie Guillen stated Friday that he won't hesitate to remove Mark Buehrle from games if he isn't pitching well, according to the Chicago Tribune. "Right now, he has to be really, really throwing the ball very well and show me and the coaching staff he's good enough to go back there in the sixth inning," Guillen said. "In the fifth or sixth inning you will see somebody in the bullpen unless he's cruising. Everything is happening so fast lately. It's not giving us a chance to do anything. But we're going to be aware of it. We have to." Buehrle has a 12.93 ERA in his last five starts.
