Adrian started the year hitting .259 in 27 AB, but with today's effort his average now rests at .344. Gonzalez also hit in the third spot in the order where he should bat consistently despite being the team's best power-hitter.

Gonzalez improved his numbers across the board last season though he may be hard pressed to exceed his total of 30 HR and 100 RBI this season given the fact that he hits in the best pitcher's park in the National League.
