Adrian Gonzalez, who is mired in a 4-for-47 slump since June 23 and has seen his average drop from .294 to .265, got the night off on Friday and was replaced by Geoff Blum, according to the AP. Gonzalez will more than likely be back in the lineup for Saturday afternoon's game.
