Adam Wainwright ceded two runs over six innings to the Phillies on Saturday and won his sixth game of the season. He struck out two batters and allowed seven hits. The victory ends a three-game losing streak for Wainwright.

Adam Wainwright admitted on Wednesday night that he's been dealing with tendonitis in his right elbow and other parts of his arm. His start on Tuesday night marked the first time he has worked without discomfort, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "It's the first start since the very first start that I haven't gone on the mound thinking about something ailing me," Wainwright explains. "I don't know if that was the cause of some of my delivery problems. I don't know."
