The Indians recalled Brandon Phillips from Triple-A Buffalo. Phillips hit .303 with eight homers and 14 steals in 135 games. He started at second base on Sunday and will likely share time with Ronnie Belliard there the remainder of the year. Phillips has a good shot at the everyday job for 2005.
