Phillips suffered the fracture when he was hit by a pitch on a bunt attempt in the 11th inning of Wednesdays game against the Milwaukee Brewers. He stayed in the contest and delivered the go-ahead RBI single later in the at-bat, lifting the Reds to a 5-4 victory. |
