The Marlins were ready for Nats starter Tim Redding on Friday night. They were patient at the plate, this after striking out 10 times to the right-hander in their last game against him. Redding walked a season-high four over 5.1 innings. He gave up only four hits and struck out three but was charged with five earned runs.
