The Nationals signed Tim Redding to a minor-league deal Monday and added him to the 40-man roster, according to the Washington Post. Redding pitched in 10 games (seven starts) for the Padres and White Sox last year, going 0-6 with a 10.57 ERA.

As expected, the White Sox reassigned Tim Redding to minor league camp on Monday, according to the Daily Southtown. Redding held a 4.73 ERA in 13.1 innings this spring.
