The Giants re-signed Pedro Feliz to a one-year deal Monday, according to the Sports Network. Terms were not disclosed. "Pedro has certainly done a lot for our club over the last few years, obviously driving in a lot of runs, and has provided a lot of versatility," said general manager Brian Sabean. "Nobody has played more games for us over the last three years, so his durability is certainly an advantage." Feliz will man third base for the Giants, meaning the newly-acquired Rich Aurilia will likely play first.

Pedro Feliz wants a raise from his $4.275 million salary of last season, but it appears that he may be backing down from his demand of a multiyear deal because of lack of interest, according to the Contra Costa Times. Feliz drove in 98 runs last year but had a paltry .281 on-base percentage.

Hitting just .113 in his previous 10 games, Pedro Feliz was given his first day off this season Tuesday, according to the Contra Costa Times. "I would like to be in there every day, but a day off is a day off," Feliz said.
