The Indians recalled Grady Sizemore from Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday after placing Juan Gonzalez on the 15-day DL. Sizemore hit .291 this spring before being sent down last weekend. He's now expected to open the year in the starting lineup until Gonzalez returns.

The Indians optioned Grady Sizemore to Triple-A Buffalo. Juan Gonzalez won the right field job for the Tribe, and the team wants Sizemore to play every day. It's doubtful that Gonzalez will be able to stay healthy all season, and Sizemore should spend a sizeable portion of the season in the majors.

Currently, it appears that Grady Sizemore has lost out to Juan Gonzalez for the starting job in right field with the Indians, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
