| July 20, 2006 Taking advantage of Thursday's day off for the Indians, manager Eric Wedge held Grady Sizemore out of the starting lineup Wednesday to give the outfielder a little extra rest, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "Grady didn't have an All-Star break," Wedge said. "They run you around pretty good at that thing. This way he'll have Wednesday and Thursday off. There's a big difference between having one day and two days off." Sizemore entered the game as a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning and remained in the game for the last two innings, though. |
