Dustin Moseley will almost certainly start for the Angels on Thurrsday after the team was forced to move up Jered Weaver and JOn Garland in the rotation because of Joe Saunders kidney stones, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Dustin Moseley , hoping to take advantage of John Lackey’s injured arm, struggled early but recovered nicely his second start of spring training as the Angels beat up on the Milwaukee Brewers, 11-4. Moseley allowed four hits and two runs in the first inning of the game only to turn around and hurl three scoreless innings to follow. In the end, he allowed six hits with one walk and no strike outs. As one of four candidates left to fill Lackey’s rotation spot, Moseley needs to make an impression to start the season in the majors. Today’s outing certainly helps.

Recovering from elbow surgery, Dustin Moseley felt some soreness in the joint Friday and was shut down for the day, according to the LA Times. He's expected to pitch in a game next week, so obviously at this point, the Angels aren't too concerned about it.
