The Angels activated Maicer Izturis from the disabled list on Monday, according to the AP. He hasn't played since April 30 because of a tight right hamstring and is hitting .245 with one homer and 14 RBI in 29 games with the Angels.

He'll need to improve on his .245 batting average once he gets back in the mix.
