He has been placed on the 15-day DL, and will undergo further exams later.

Jeremy Bonderman went to see a doctor Friday after reporting some discomfort around his right shoulder, according to CBSsports.com. Two club sources told CBS that he would be checked for a possible circulation problem in the shoulder. The Tigers have yet to comment directly on the Bonderman, but the righty isn't expected to make his scheduled start Sunday and will likely be placed on the DL.
June 1, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman allowed a career-high 12 hits but only three earned runs in seven innings of work. The right-hander was not involved in the decision on Sunday as the Tigers scratched out four runs in the ninth inning to win their 24th game of the season.
May 28, 2008
In need of a win, Detroit RHP Jeremy Bonderman failed not from the mound but from bad luck, failing to garner the offensive support needed to retain a 2-0 lead as the Tigers fell in late innings, 3-2, to the Angels. Bonderman pitched 7 1/3 innings, allowing just two runs (both earned) on six hits, walking one and striking out seven.
May 22, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman claimed his third win of the season on Thursday, as Detroit prevailed 9-2 over Seattle. Bonderman allowed two runs on eight hits over six innings, with two walks and two strikeouts.

Jeremy Bonderman has been suffering with control problems so far this season and will look to get on track tonight when the Tigers host the Red Sox, according to MLB.com. Bonderman has allowed 23 walks over 35 innings, with a dismal 1.60 WHIP.
April 30, 2008

Jeremy Bonderman will be looking to bounce back when the Tigers host the Rangers today, according to MLB.com. April 19, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman struggled with control once again today, picking up his second loss of the season, 2-3, to the Toronto Blue Jays. Bonderman lasted just five innings, throwing a whopping 108 pitches (60 for strikes) and allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits.
April 3, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman surrendered four runs on eight hits (two home runs) over 6.1 innings of work in a 4-1 loss to Kansas City on Thursday, with two walks and one strikeout. This appeared to be a good week for Detroit pitchers as they were facing Kansas City, but that gravely was not the case as the Tigers were swept in the three-game series.
March 23, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman pitched seven innings against Detroit's Double-A squad Sunday morning. The right-hander allowed five hits and no runs while throwing 71 pitches. Bonderman continues to lower his spring ERA and is building his pitch count for the opening series against the Kansas City, a good matchup in Week 1 for all of the Detroit fantasy options.
March 18, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman is trusting his changeup more and insists that he finally will add it to his pitching repertoire this season, according to the AP. "I'm getting to where I am comfortable with it," Bonderman said. "In previous springs, I was trying to find a grip. Now, I have a changeup and I believe in it." Bonderman lowered his spring ERA to 5.09 after allowing two runs on five hits and three walks, while striking out three over 4 2/3 innings of work Tuesday. If he can really get a hold his changeup, maybe we'll finally see Bonderman become an elite option this season -- or at least improve upon last year's disappointing campaign.
March 13, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman had control issues on Thursday as he allowed three runs on six hits over four innings. Bonderman has a 5.54 ERA for the spring.
March 4, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman is using a new changeup grip this year, and he thinks it will really help him improve upon a pitch that's been very inconsistent for him in the past. "This year is different for me," he said in the Detroit Free Press. "I feel comfortable throwing it." Manager Jim Leyland thinks a better changeup is the only thing that's keeping Bonderman from becoming a star. "He'll go from really good to outstanding if he masters that," Leyland said. Bonderman is trying to rebound from a subpar 2007 campaign. It remains to be seen if he'll ever take that step to the next level.
March 3, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman tossed three scoreless innings in his second start of the spring, but the Tigers fell to the Rays 10-9 on Monday afternoon. The Tigers right-hander allowed two hits and struck out a pair. Bonderman was overvalued in most fantasy drafts a year ago and disappointed overall. His 11-9 record and 5.01 ERA didn't equate to a top-10 pitching option, which is where he was drafted in most formats.
March 3, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman worked three scoreless innings against the Rays regulars on Monday. He allowed two hits, walked none, and struck out two. We're not sure if the Tigers allowed Bonderman to use his slider this time out, as they are still being cautious about his elbow. Either way, this line is promising.
February 27, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman allowed four hits, a walk and two runs on Wednesday, but he was limited to just fastballs and changeups in the 59 degree weather, according to a report on the AP. The team wants to make sure that his arm is healthy after he collapsed in the second half last season when he went 2-8 with a 7.38 ERA and 1.68 WHIP in his last 68.1 innings, so don't be surprised if he his babied a bit in the early going.
February 24, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman will get the ball Wednesday in the Tigers' first spring training game, according to the AP. The right-hander is trying to bounce back from a sub-par 2007 season. He could end up providing good fantasy value for where he will be taken.
February 15, 2008
Jeremy Bonderman is feeling healthy now after dealing with a strained elbow at the end of last season. "I feel good," Bonderman told the Detroit News. "I've thrown off the mound three times this week. I've let it go. And I feel good. I'm just going to get ready (for the regular season) and not rush things. I'll be ready when we break camp." The right-hander has a new changeup that he hopes is more effective than his previous version of the pitch. "It's like a four-seam change-up," he said. "I get the feeling of the ball coming off my hands. Maybe that's all I needed." Bonderman will be trying to bounce back from a disappointing 2007 season that saw his ERA shoot up over 5.00. He'll be slotted into the No.2 spot in the rotation behind Justin Verlander.
