The Reds called up Edwin Encarnacion from Triple-A Louisville on Saturday and handed him the everyday job at third after dealing Joe Randa to the Padres for a pair or minor league pitchers, according to the AP. Encarnacion hit .314 with 15 homers and 54 RBI in 78 games with Louisville, and batted .222 in 10 games with the Reds earlier this season.
