Brandon Lyon picked up his first save of the year Sunday, working a scoreless ninth inning against the Giants. Lyon, who was getting the call because Jose Valverde needed a day off, loaded the bases on two hits and a walk before putting the fire out. This messy appearance to the side, he does have a snappy 0.79 ERA through four weeks.

Brandon Lyon signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal with Arizona on Tuesday, according to the AP. He was 2-4 with a 3.89 ERA in a career-high 68 games last season.
