Recovering from Tommy John surgery, Grant Balfour made his second rehab start yesterday, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. If all goes well, he could be back in action next month. "We're just trying to get him ready at some point in September, see how he's progressed and if he could potentially help us at some point," trainer Mark Mann said.

After Grant Balfour made a couple of rehab appearances with Single-A Dayton last week, the Reds have slowed him down a bit, according to the Cincinnati Post.
