Cody Ross will start off at Triple-A Las Vegas, though he could be up with the Dodgers sooner than later, according to the LA Times. "We feel like Cody has a chance to be an everyday player in a relatively short period of time," said GM Paul DePodesta. "He\'s close to being major league ready, and it\'s certainly an area of need for us."

The Dodgers acquired outfield prospect Cody Ross from the Tigers today in exchange for reliever Steve Colyer and a player to be named. Ross hit .287 with 20 homers at Triple-A Toledo last season.
