Since all of Martinez's struggles have come from the left side of the plate, Martinez may sit a few games when a righty is one the mound. "It's a day-to-day thing right now," said manager Eric Wedge, when asked how long Martinez will sit against right-handed starters. "We're talking about one side [left] of the plate here."
