The Nationals started Bernie Castro at second base for the second straight game on Tuesday, according to the official team website. Manager Frank Robinson wants to give Castro a long look before Jose Vidro returns from the DL at the end of the week. Robinson also hasn't ruled out giving Castro a shot in center field before the season is over.

The Nationals recalled second baseman Bernie Castro from Triple-A New Orleans to replace the injured Jose Vidro on the roster. Castro was hitting .284 and had 22 stolen bases in 24 attempts for New Orleans. He could see some action at second while Vidro is out.
