Jorge Sosa has been sent to the bullpen for an indefinite amount of time. He pitched two innings in relief in the Mets' 13-innings loss Tuesday. Sosa could end up going back to the rotation, or he could stay in long relief, according to MLB.com. "Right now, I don't know what's going to happen," Sosa said through an interpreter. "I'll do whatever they want me to do to help us get to the World Series."

As expected, the Mets activated Jorge Sosa from the disabled list on Monday to start against the Padres, according to Sports Ticker. He had been out since June 30 with a left hamstring strain. In 11 starts this year, Sosa is 7-3 with a solid 3.92 ERA. That said, his 5.3 K/9 rate and 3.2 BB/9 rate isn't very appealing.
