The White Sox will stick with Bobby Jenks as their closer in the postseason, according to the Daily Southtown. "I put Jenks in a tough situation and he came through," manager Ozzie Guillen said. "Right now, to this point, I think Jenks will take the shot. We'll go by gut feeling and what's the best matchup. If Jenks is ready, he's the guy." Jenks converted six of eight save opportunities this year.

Guillen was impressed when Jenks retired Gary Sheffield, Alex Rodriguez and Hideki Matsui in succession in the eighth inning on Monday. "We want to see what we have," Guillen said. "He was facing three of the best hitters in the game. If something happens during the stretch, and I need a closer, I won't hesitate to use him."
