Lastings Milledge has been activated from the DL following his recovery from a right groin strain, according to the AP. Johnny Estrada has been designated for assignment to make room on the roster for Milledge.

MLB.com reports that Lastings Milledge , who has been on the disabled list since June 28 because of a right groin strain, was promoted to Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday after playing two games for Rookie-level Gulf Coast. Milledge was 1-for-4 with a home run for the GC Nationals and was 1-for-8 for the Clippers. He is expected to return to the Nationals on Friday.

Lastings Milledge, on the DL since June 28th due to a strained right groin, might return to the Nationals lineup on the weekend, according to MLB.com. "He is doing well with no limitations," manager Manny Acta said. "He will be here sooner rather than later."

Lastings Milledge will begin a rehab assignment Sunday with the rookie Gulf Coast League, according to MLB.com. He has been on the disabled list since June 28 with a strained right groin. "He's running the bases, he's ready to start his rehab tomorrow," manager Manny Acta said.

Lastings Milledge has landed on the 15-day DL due to a strained right groin, according to the Sports Network. To fill his spot on the roster, the Nationals recalled outfielder Roger Bernadina from Double-A Harrisburg.
