Manager Eric Wedge said it's possible that American League Cy Young favorite Cliff Lee may not start Sunday's season finale against the White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field according to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer. "Let's just see what that game means," said Wedge. "As of right now he's starting." The White Sox are currently leading their division by 1.5 games.

Fultz, who struggled this spring, is expected to be released or designated for assignment. Lee has always shown potential, but until he is more consistent from start-to-start, his value rests in AL-only formats.

When asked if the the loser of the battle end up in the team's bullpen, this is what manager Eric Wedge had to say. "That's not something we're considering right now. I wouldn't rule it out, but we're not considering that right now." Lee is battling Jeremy Sowers and Aaron Laffey for the last spot in the rotation, and the other loser will also likely end up in the minors as well.
