Cliff Lee's agent, Darek Braunecker, believes the hurler will be traded sometime this offseason, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "If you consider all those guys to be similar, Cliff is their most expendable guy," said Braunecker. "I'm expecting them to move him." The Cardinals are one team that's already expressed interest in Lee, and it's possible a deal could get done involving Anthony Reyes.

The Indians are expected to use Cliff Lee as a long reliever for the rest of the season. ''Cliff probably will be the long guy,'' manager Eric Wedge told the Akron Beacon-Journal. ''But we have enough guys out there for us to be able to put it (a lengthy relief stint) together. The reality is a long reliever usually works no more than three innings, maybe four.'' There will be no fantasy value for Lee unless he works his way back into the rotation.
