Reed Johnson, starting in place of an injured Jim Edmonds, went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI for the Cubs on Wednesday night. One of the hits was his fourth home run of the season.

Reed Johnson is likely to be placed on the DL to make room on the roster for Sean Marshall, who will be recalled to start on Tuesday, according to the Chicago Tribune. Johnson hasn't played since last Tuesday because of back spasms.
