MLB.com reports that Nick Swisher is starting in Game 2 of the ALDS with left-hander Scott Kazmir starting for Tampa Bay. He replaces Dewayne Wise in the outfield on Friday.

Manager Ozzie Guillen noted that Nick Swisher will see less playing time while working in an outfield platoon with Brian Anderson, Dewayne Wise, and speedster Jerry Owens, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Nick Swisher left Tuesday's game against Baltimore at Camden Yards after fouling a pitch off of his left leg during a 4th-inning at-bat, according to MLB.com. Swisher was diagnosed with a lower left leg contusion and is listed as day-to-day.
