Nick Swisher will probably play first base full time next season now that the A's have acquired Milton Bradley. Bradley, Mark Kotsay, Jay Payton and Bobby Kielty all need time in the outfield, so Swisher will spend most of his time at first, with Dan Johnson moving to DH.

He suffered the injury in the third inning of Sunday's game after colliding with the right field wall while attempting to catch a fly ball. Swisher is batting .218 with three home runs and eight RBI in 22 games this season.
