"I feel like I had a successful year outside of the home-run numbers," said Teahen. "I’m looking forward to getting into this year because I know what I need to do to keep my legs healthy. I also was able to lift weights all winter. So I assume it will be like it was (in 2006)." Teahan's right that outside of his homers dropping off from 18 in 393 at-bats in 2006 to seven in 544 at-bats in 2007, he posted decent numbers like a .285 batting average and 78 runs. So we could see a real breakout this year.

Teahan will earn about $2.3 million in 2008.
