According to the AP, the Reds will recall Luke Hudson from Triple-A Louisville to start Sunday against the Padres. Hudson is 8-8 with a 3.50 ERA in 18 starts at both Double-A and Triple-A this season.

Luke Hudson pitched seven strong innings in his 2004 debut with Triple-A Louisville on Thursday. He allowed just three hits and one earned run, with six strikeouts and one walk. Hudson, who was 7-7 with a 3.32 ERA in 16 starts with Double-A Chattanooga, could get a shot in the Cincinnati rotation before the end of the season.

The Reds moved Luke Hudson from Double-A Chattanooga to Triple-A Louisville yesterday, according to the Cincinnati Post. He could be recalled at some point by the Reds.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Luke Hudson is 6-1 with a 1.47 ERA for Double-A Chattanooga since June 19. However, it's unclear if Hudson will be a candidate to step in if the Reds decide to pull Jose Acevedo from the rotation or trade Paul Wilson or Cory Lidle.
