The Red Sox and Marlins have agreed on a deal that will send Hanley Ramirez, Anibal Sanchez and Jesus Delgado to Florida for Josh Beckett and Mike Lowell, according to the Boston Herald.

Edgar Renteria told reporters yesterday that he'd be willing to switch positions when shortstop prospect Hanley Ramirez is ready for the majors, according to the Boston Globe. "His talent is incredible," Renteria said. "When you see someone you like, you're happy for them, you want them to play well. I don't mind that he plays my position. He has the talent to play, if there are ways for him to make it -- for him to move to another position or me to move to another position."
