"He says he's well, and so does our trainer," Phillies manager Charlie Manuel told the AP. "I'm looking for him to get on base some, and he'll bring energy to our team." Of course the problem with Victorino playing right now is that it forces the sizzling Jayson Werth to the bench; Werth wound up pinch-hitting Thursday, hitting a three-run homer. It's hard for us to imagine Victorino playing full-time over the final 10 days. |
