Twins prospect Jason Kubel will undergo reconstructive surgery on his left knee on December 2, according to the Star-Tribune. Kubel is expected to miss the entire 2005 season.

Jason Kubel will have surgery in about two weeks to repair three torn ligaments in his left knee, according to the Star-Tribune. Kubel is likely to miss a healthy portion of the 2005 season.

The Star-Tribune reports that Jason Kubel suffered a serious left knee injury in Arizona Fall League play last week. Kubel said that he has a torn ACL and a damaged meniscus. He will likely be out for several months and miss the start of the 2005 season.

Jason Kubel is likely to get the start in right field today since Jacque Jones got to New York late after catching a red-eye flight from California, where he was mourning the death of his father, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Kubel hit .300 with two home runs and seven runs batted in in 23 games since being called up from Triple-A Rochester on Aug. 31.

The Twins recalled outfielder Jason Kubel from Triple-A Rochester and he will be activated before Tuesday's game. He was hitting .343 with 16 homers and 71 RBI in 347 at-bats. Earlier in the year at Double-A New Britain, he hit .388 with five homers and 24 RBI in 116 at-bats.

The Star-Tribune reports that the Twins will probably recall star outfield prospect Jason Kubel from Triple-A Rochester today. Kubel will be recalled before September 1 so he will be eligible for the postseason roster.
