| November 30, 2006 Jason Kubel underwent surgery on his right knee last week to repair a torn meniscus, but he's expected to be ready for spring training, according to the Star-Tribune. This is not the knee that caused Kubel to miss the entire 2005 season. "Everything structurally is fine," GM Terry Ryan said. "He will be ready to go. I'm almost relieved that there was something in the good knee that didn't allow him to function. We have the health issues taken care of now, so we can move on." |
