Milwaukee second baseman Rickie Weeks is back in the lineup for the Brewers today, activated from the disabled list this morning after missing two weeks with a sprained left knee, according to MLB.com.

Rickie Weeks passed all of his workout test with flying colors Saturday and is expected to be activated before Sunday's game, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Weeks is coming back from a sprained left knee. "I'm ready," said Weeks. "The knee feels good."

Rickie Weeks (knee) took ground balls before the Brewers game on Friday and there is a growing belief that he will be ready to be activated from the DL on Sunday when eligible, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Rickie Weeks said that his sprained left knee is improving, though his work today was limited to taking ground balls, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Manager Ned Yost said Weeks may not be ready to return from the DL on Sunday when he's eligible, but that it shouldn't be long after that.
