The Detroit Free Press reports Curtis Granderson and Nook Logan will platoon in center field while Rondell White is on the disabled list. As a left-handed batter, Granderson should see the bulk of the action. Logan is a switch-hitter, but he's much more effective against left-handed pitching.

Curtis Granderson went 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI in his season debut on Friday. He was recalled from Triple-A Toledo earlier in the day. Granderson made nine appearances with the Tigers last September, tallying 25 at-bats. If Rondell White continues to miss time with a shoulder injury, Granderson could see a fair amount of playing time in the immediate future.

The Tigers recalled outfielder Curtis Granderson from Triple-A Toledo, according to the AP. Granderson is one of Detroit's top prospects and was hitting .297 with 13 home runs and 59 RBI before the promotion. He was in the lineup on Friday night batting ninth and playing center field.
