The Baltimore Sun reports that John Maine is becoming the most obvious choice in the minors if the Orioles need another pitcher. He had a slow start after being promoted to Triple-A Ottawa, but since has gone 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA in four appearances. He was 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA in five starts at Double-A Bowie and is 4-5 with a 4.81 ERA overall at Triple-A.
