John Maine will sometimes use an inhaler between innings as he looks to control his athsma, Newsday reports. "I never went to the doctor much growing up," Maine said. "Now that I'm around them more, I finally told somebody about this. I've always had a hard time catching my breath. I just never said anything." Maine is off to a 2-0 start with a 1.93 ERA in three turns this year, and he flirted with a no-hitter at Florida in his last outing.
