Todd Wellemeyer is headed back to the bullpen to clear a spot in the rotation for Kip Wells. The Cards were 7-1 in Wellemeyer's eight starts, though his 4.46 ERA over that time wasn't exactly awe inspiring. "I knew I was going to end up in the bullpen eventually," Wellemeyer told the AP. "I've got my confidence up and it should be an interesting second half."
