As expected, Chris Snyder has been activated from the DL, according to the AP. Utility catcher Robby Hammock has been optioned to Triple-A Tucson as the adjoining move.

Snyder has been trying to push Miguel Montero to the shadows and take the starting catcher job for himself. The way he swings the bat should make the decision an easy one.
