The Braves placed Anthony Lerew on the DL Sunday due to ulnar neuritis in his elbow. Recalled earlier this month, Lerew pitched well in his first start with Atlanta but was knocked around in his last two outings. To replace Lerew on the roster, the Braves recalled infielder Martin Prado from Triple-A Richmond, according to Sports Network.

The Braves recalled Anthony Lerew from Triple-A Richmond Monday night in order to start him on Tuesday, according to the AP. He is 1-0 with a 1.37 ERA in five starts for Richmond. He has allowed only 20 hits in 26 innings.

The Braves recalled Anthony Lerew from Triple-A Richmond Saturday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He's spent time at Double- and Triple-A this season, but he was pitching well in August with Richmond, going 2-1 with a 3.52 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 23 innings over four starts.
