The Yankees learned on Thursday that prospect Eric Duncan won't need surgery for a lingering lower disc issue in his back, according to Newsday. "I just have to do a good job taking care of it the next couple of years," he said. Duncan, who is on the DL at Double-A, is holding out hope that he'll be able to return this season.
