The Blue Jays have traded Chad Gaudin to the A's for a player to be named later, according to the AP. Gaudin was 9-8 with a 3.35 ERA in 23 starts for Triple-A Syracuse last season. He posted a 13.15 ERA in 13 innings for Toronto.

The Blue Jays recalled Chad Gaudin from Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday, according to the AP. Gaudin went 5-5 with a 2.49 ERA in 15 starts at Syracuse, and he went 1-2 with a 12.19 ERA in three starts with Toronto earlier this season. Toronto manager John Gibbons said Gaudin would work out of the bullpen.

The Blue Jays recalled Chad Gaudin from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday to replace David Bush in their rotation, according to the AP. Gaudin went 3-2 with a 2.48 ERA in 10 starts before the promotion. "He's pitched really well in Triple-A and he deserves to be up here," Toronto general manager J.P. Ricciardi said. "Out of all the guys down there he's the one who's most ready."
