Olsen declined to discuss the suspension, which stemmed from a confrontation Sunday with teammate Sergio Mitre, but said he's looking forward to his next start Friday against Cincinnati. "It's over with," manager Fredi Gonzalez said. "He's going to pitch Friday. We'll go forward." Olsen seemed to have turned the corner some when he struck out 10 Pirates in late June, but he's struggled in his three starts since then (6.94 ERA, 11 walks, seven strikeouts). |
