Scott Olsen, who was arrested and charged with driving under the influence on Saturday, will most likely make his scheduled start against Arizona on Wednesday, according to the AP. "We've kicked it around a long time," manager Fredi Gonzalez said in a statement on the team's web site. "The plan is for him to start Wednesday. We're going to let the legal process take its course, as of right now. It's not a decision - we're still talking about it. But the plan is still that he's going on Wednesday." Olsen is coming off one of his strongest outings of the year, holding the Reds to two runs on four hits in seven innings on Friday.

Olsen was booked into the Miami-Dade county jail on charges of driving under the influence, resisting an officer with violence and fleeing and eluding a police officer. Scott Olsen rejoined the Marlins Wednesday after serving a two-game suspension without pay because of insubordination and conduct detrimental to the team, the AP reports. Olsen declined to discuss the suspension, which stemmed from a confrontation Sunday with teammate Sergio Mitre, but said he's looking forward to his next start Friday against Cincinnati. "It's over with," manager Fredi Gonzalez said. "He's going to pitch Friday. We'll go forward." Olsen seemed to have turned the corner some when he struck out 10 Pirates in late June, but he's struggled in his three starts since then (6.94 ERA, 11 walks, seven strikeouts).
