After Tuesday's rainout, Ian Snell will still make his first career start for the Pirates in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Wednesday, according to the AP.

Pirates manager Lloyd McClendon told the AP on Saturday that Ian Snell will get his first career start Tuesday in Philadelphia. Snell spent most of the season with Double-A Altoona where he went 11-7 with a 3.16 ERA and three complete games in 26 starts. In two relief appearances with the Pirates, Snell has allowed two runs in seven innings.

He pitched just two innings on Tuesday, so he's a candidate to start the second game of tomorrow's doubleheader against the Cardinals.
